The local councils of Tasmania have voted in favour of supporting the consumer campaign Keep Me Posted, with executive director Kellie Northwood confirming the motion of support was carried.

With the motion carried, this will see the Local Government Association of Tasmania endorse the activities of Keep Me Posted, which is raising awareness of large corporates charging people who opt to receive paper versions of information or bills.
